DIS-EASE, PLEASE
dis-ease, please is a movement-based sculpture that asks what the uncomfortable and unglamorous negotiation of giving weight, receiving support, and holding another up does for, by, and with the female body on display. The performance looks at the commodification of female discomfort to its point of being a confirmation of her aliveness.
